Life has become a fusion of painting, prayers creating joyful and abstract prophetic art. Creating cityscapes. My landscapes and abstracts are inspired by the natural world. I had this gift before I became a Christian artist. I encourage everyone to paint and express themselves.

This painting is called “the whisper” in oil on canvas, It is about an uncle of mine who passed away in Scotland. We prayed and saw vertical rainbows coming down to earth. Afterwards I painted this. I felt peace and give hope from my testimonial. In my art there is a figure on a rainbow bridge, somewhere beautiful. “The whisper” is when God speaks in the quiet moments and meets us in our hearts. When I am fully immersed in the now, not thinking, just being. My uncle was an artist and loved golf and was surrounded by beautiful scenery. Nature brings peace in the colours of the sky and in the details of a tiny flower. This brings me a feeling of freedom.

I have recently discovered that reading scripture also gives me a different kind of freedom and I mentally sense the colour gold in my heart, it is when I look between the words at the space. I wish the same for you. This is a favourite passage from the holy bible:

Isaiah 40:31

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength and they will soar on wings like eagles.

Sometimes we have to read in between the lines…

This abstract art is called  “With wings”, God who is the greatest artist of all creation. I feel God gives me wings when I paint. As a London artist, I painted rainbows in the darkness of night. We can be the rainbow to someone in trouble or a listening ear. I think covid has taught us how much we need community. Let us shine rainbows on each other with small acts of simple kindness, a smile, a listening ear, a small donation or a coffee. They are all beautiful gifts.
